As we start a new year, I'm excited to share with you a great tutorial on making a Snowflake Block, courtesy of Lisa's Quilting Passion. Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just starting out, this tutorial is a must-read for anyone looking to improve their quilting skills.

In the January - Snowflake BOM tutorial, Lisa shares a step-by-step guide on how to make a beautiful Snowflake Block. The tutorial covers everything from the fabric requirements to the finished block, including tips and tricks to ensure that your block turns out perfect.

One of the things I love about this tutorial is the attention to detail. Lisa provides clear instructions and accompanying photos to help you understand each step of the process. She also shares some great tips on how to square up your half-square triangles and how to press your seams to ensure that they nest together perfectly.

To make the Snowflake Block, you'll need two 8" squares of blue and white fabric, which will yield 16 half-square triangles. Lisa also recommends using a triangle square up ruler to ensure that your triangles are accurate and square.
